Our total commitment to the successful development of our people can clearly be seen throughout our business. This commitment is supported and driven by a dedicated team of learning professionals at the Society's own Learning Centre.
Learning Solutions - Made to Measure
Much of what is created at Anglia by our Learning Centre team is designed to fulfil specific business needs. This means that the training delivered supports the Society's aims and objectives. Consultation with our senior management often results in new programmes being delivered and these may take the form of business seminars, team-building events, in-house training packs, workbooks and personality profiling.

The best organisations invest in their people and make huge efforts to develop their own teams. Anglia is no exception. Our training is designed to meet the specific needs of our business.
Therefore, although you won't find long lists of courses to go on that nobody ever benefits from, there are a number of courses available that have been designed to provide specific skills and knowledge to those who want to get on.

The Management Development and Team Leader Development Programmes are both nationally accredited and provide the information necessary for managers and team leaders to develop themselves and their teams in order to meet the demands of the business.
If you are joining us in one of these positions, the chances are that we'll be seeing you at our Learning Centre soon. Other courses available include Presentation Skills, Train the Trainer, Interview and Recruitment, plus statutory training that keeps us to our legal responsibilities. This includes CIEH Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene, National Licensees and First Aid for Appointed Persons.
Training, however doesn't only occur at our Learning Centre, infact most learning takes place where we work.
